Sugar Mama’s Tasty Treats, formerly Saweet Cupcakes, is a woman-owned small business that serves San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Our gourmet treats are available in our bakery, curbside, by delivery, and at special events with our tasty treats truck.

At Sugar Mama’s Tasty Treats, you will find both traditional and unique treats for all occasions. We have spent countless hours perfecting each of our recipes. Everything we bake is made from scratch with the freshest ingredients. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, and we work hard to ensure that your tasty treats are the best you and your guests have ever tasted.

Flavor and appearance are our top priorities, but above all, customer service reigns supreme. We truly work with every customer, so you receive the product you envisioned to make your party or special event as memorable as possible.

 

Our Team

Maria Hardt

Maria grew up working in her family’s Italian restaurant where she was washing dishes at the age of 12. Over the years, she learned how to bake from her grandma, Julia, and has been baking and creating delicious treats for over 30 years.

Maria has always dreamed of owning her own bakery, and she is excited that this dream has come true. Maria went to cake decorating school in 1993 and enjoys creating beautiful, tasty treats for birthdays, weddings, and special occasions. Maria bakes everything from scratch with the freshest ingredients. Many family recipes and baking secrets have been passed down, and Maria is excited to share them with everyone. When she is not baking, Maria enjoys spending time with her family and golfing. Maria is “Gigi” to 6 beautiful grandchildren!

Christa Franklin

Christa has a sweet tooth and is excited to use her many years in marketing and business development to promote Sugar Mama’s Tasty Treats to San Antonio and the surrounding areas! Christa has over 20 years of experience in marketing and business development with expertise in public relations, social media management, website design, customer service, advertising, office management, and special event planning.

Christa understands that delicious treats must be combined with outstanding customer service for a great experience, which is why she goes out of her way to provide exceptional service to everyone she has the pleasure to work with. Christa enjoys spending time with her family and sweet Boston Terrier named Aubee! She also loves to fish and relax at the beach.
